This is very good, only if people that actually owned businesses locally could find. I am a current developer for Jacksonville, Florida’s Search Engine, FastJax.net, and we are finding that the web pages that we are crawling lack those key concepts. So we are working hard to figure out a better formual to help the local, amaturish websites rank better. Currently we emphasize title tags. They are very effictive in terms of users being able to write them without too much complication. We developed software where can “staple” an extra page for sites that perform poorly in this category, right now we are studying and keeping track of the most popular keywords our users look for and then finding the related sites and trying to work with them locally or calling them to give them the information. Most of the time we just “staple” the page together and write better title tags.

For example:: Jacksonville, Florida Pizza - Coal Fired, Russian Style, Home Cooked Pizza - Jacksonville, Florida Pizza

The simplicty helps in seo for users that are not use to local search engines and users that do not want to stray too far from mother Google.
